How to Improve Your Communication Skills
Best thing to do is to use savvy and influential communication. Influential communication will get you the attention as soon as you start speaking, because you are speaking what other person wants to hear. For example, you might start with, “As your current project is going nowhere, but if we do following three things, we can make this marketable”. Gotcha!!! Now you have attention of everyone in the room and whole floor is yours.
The influential communication is about how well you understand the problems and later sharing it in such a way that persuades to make other person want it.
Savvy communication is being flexible and thinking, planning ahead and not necessarily going straight to what you want. Lots of people say, “Well, how am I going to do this?” Phrases like beating around the bush are actually very good technique for good communication. Eventually the listeners will start asking the questions which you want them to ask. Although, they would eventually reach to the answer presumably on their own, but you have led them to the desired destination. That in itself is an important feet on its own.
